I offer in-person mold inspections and mold testing in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area. As a certified biotoxin assessor, I also offer mycotoxin testing, bacteria testing, endotoxin testing, and VOC testing.
Inspections include a visual inspection of the conditioned spaces of your home. I am looking for mold growth, signs of water damage and water intrusions, breaches in the building envelope, and other visual clues of where biotoxin contamination is lurking. I conduct moisture mapping using thermal imaging and various moisture meters. I check temperature and humidity in each room of your home.
I discuss testing options with my client once the visual inspection and moisture mapping is complete. Typically I take a combination of air samples and tape lift surface samples to check mold levels in the home. However there are times when swab samples, Petrie dish samples, or dust samples might be appropriate. Other biotoxin testing requires different types of sampling.
I also offer consultations on remediation plans and post-remediation air and content cleaning for medically sensitized individuals. Rates vary based on the square footage of your home, your individual situation, needs, and goals. I do not have a one sized fits all approach to inspections and consultations. Every situation is unique. My goal is to keep things affordable, practical, and straightforward. I want to get you the best possible outcome within your individual parameters coupled with my professional recommendations.
Due to scheduling limitations, I do not currently work with clients who are involved in mold litigation or planning on bringing a lawsuit against a landlord or builder, outside of a consult role.
Because of the amount of time I spend on each individual inspection and the resulting report, I often have a 2-3 week wait time before I can conduct the inspection. I want to make sure that I give each client’s home the attention it deserves. Biotoxin assessments are not something to be rushed. I choose quality over quantity every time.
